Where does bat speed come from?

Bat speed comes from the body turning in order: the lower half first, then the torso, then the arms and the barrel. Coaches call it sequencing. The videos explain it and give tips; we chose none titled as heavy- or overload-bat training.

What it looks like: The arms do all the work and the hips barely turn, so the swing looks slow even when your player swings hard.
