How do you stop a hitter pulling off the ball?
Pulling off means the front side opens before the bat reaches the ball, taking the eyes and the barrel with it. Coaches work on keeping the front shoulder closed a moment longer. The videos show drills for it.
What it looks like: The front shoulder and the head fly open early, so your player misses pitches away or hits them off the end of the bat.
