What does good arm action look like in a pitcher?
Arm action is the path the throwing arm takes from the glove to the release. An arm that is late leaves the pitcher rushing to catch up, which makes the delivery hard to repeat. The videos show how coaches spot a late or stiff arm and drills to fix it.
What it looks like: The arm is late getting up when the front foot lands, or it looks stiff and tense through the throw.
