How should a kid field a ground ball?
Fielders move their feet to get in front of the ball, field it out in front of the body with the glove down, and use soft hands on short hops. The videos show the basics and the drills used to teach them.
What it looks like: The glove between the feet or the legs straight, so balls go under the glove or bounce off it.
