How do you teach a kid to slide safely?
A feet-first slide starts a few steps before the base, with one leg bent under the other. Many youth leagues do not allow head-first slides while advancing, so we chose no video titled for one. The videos show safe sliding.
What it looks like: Slowing down before the base, or sliding late and jamming a foot into the bag.
