Can a 10-year-old use a USSSA bat in Little League?
No. Little League Minors and Majors require the USA Baseball mark, so a bat with only the USSSA mark is turned away at the plate. Keep the USSSA bat for travel ball.
The rule
USA Baseball (USABat) mark required; barrel 2-5/8 in max; length 33 in max; no drop limit.
USA Baseball stamp
Required in Little League Majors and below, Cal Ripken, PONY, Dixie and most rec leagues for players 14 and under. Barrel up to 2-5/8 in, no drop limit.
If your league says USA bat, a USSSA bat will be turned away at the plate.
