What size glove for a 12-year-old?

A 12-year-old takes 10.25 to 11.5 in for an infielder and 11.5 to 12.25 in for an outfielder; JustBallGloves puts a middle infielder at 11 to 11.5 in. At this age the glove must close easily: a soft youth build, never a stiff pro glove.

The rules

Infield 10.25-11.5; Outfield 11.5-12.25; First base 11.5-12.

Recommend closing effort class = easy (soft youth build, pattern 11.5 in or smaller); never a stiff kip or steerhide pro glove for a first glove.
