Facts as the maker states them, read 20 Oct 2026

Players Series youth glove, 9 inches, basket web, conventional back, offered in right and left hand throw in Scarlet/Royal and sold with a soft core ball. Soft, pliable shell with soft inner lining and soft felt padding, recommended for ages 5-7.

Type	Youth glove
Size	9 in What this means Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.
Web	Basket What this means A closed, woven web that hides the ball. Pitchers use it; also common on youth gloves because it closes easily.
Hand	Right-hand throw or left-hand throw
Ages	6U, T-Ball; Recommended for ages 5-7

Fit profile

Stated comes off the maker's page; derived is worked out from what the maker states: its words, its leather, its numbers; graded is Patrick's call; unknown means the class is not known yet.

LeatherunknownNot known
Break-instatedGame-readyStated: page uses break-in or softness wording.
What this means
Soft out of the box and usable the first day. Made with softer leather that will not last as long as a stiff pro glove, which is fine for a growing player.
Tip: For most players under 12 this is the right answer.
Closing effortstatedEasyStated: page says easy to close or small hand opening.
What this means
How hard a young hand has to squeeze to close the glove on a ball. Easy means a soft build and a smaller pattern; hard means stiff leather or a big mitt.
Tip: If your player drops balls that hit the pocket, closing effort is usually the reason, not the hands.
