Facts as the maker states them, read 20 Oct 2026

Heart of the Hide ContoUR Fit infield glove on the 23 pattern with a Pro I web, 11.5 inches, in Teal, offered in right and left hand throw. Made of top-grade U.S. steerhide with an adjustable pull-lace wrist, a redesigned heel pad and R2G factory break-in, in a fit cut for smaller hands.

Type	Infield glove
Size	11.5 in What this means Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.

The maker says	The Pro I web offers a shallow pocket and ideal shape for fast glove-to-hand transfers, a key advantage for middle infielders. The 11.5-inch frame balances range and control on the dirt. ContoUR Fit gives a more tailored fit for smaller hands for younger players or those with slimmer builds. Heart of the Hide leather gives pro-grade durability.

Fit profile

Stated comes off the maker's page; derived is worked out from what the maker states: its words, its leather, its numbers; graded is Patrick's call; unknown means the class is not known yet.

LeatherstatedSteerhide
Break-instatedGame-readyStated: page uses break-in or softness wording.
What this means
Soft out of the box and usable the first day. Made with softer leather that will not last as long as a stiff pro glove, which is fine for a growing player.
Tip: For most players under 12 this is the right answer.
Closing effortderivedEasyDerived: soft youth build in a small pattern.
What this means
How hard a young hand has to squeeze to close the glove on a ball. Easy means a soft build and a smaller pattern; hard means stiff leather or a big mitt.
Tip: If your player drops balls that hit the pocket, closing effort is usually the reason, not the hands.
