Youth NXT Series 11.5-inch infield glove on the 200 pattern with a Pro I web, conventional back and ContoUR Fit, right hand throw, in Navy/Columbia Blue. Smooth, pro-soft leather shell with a padded thumb sleeve, adjustable wrist and a player break-in figure of 20.

Type	Youth infield glove
Size	11.5 in What this means Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.

The maker says	The series was designed and crafted for the typical travel ball player. High-quality leather makes it easier to break in and shape. The Pro-I web is commonly used by professional players around the league. The ContoUR fit gives players with thinner hands a more secure fit. Padded thumb sleeves help eliminate stings and allow quick transfers at the hot corner. Premium, full-grain leather provides exceptional quality and performance with a quick, easy break-in.

Fit profile

Stated comes off the maker's page; derived is worked out from what the maker states: its words, its leather, its numbers; graded is Patrick's call; unknown means the class is not known yet.

LeatherunknownNot known
Break-instatedGame-readyStated: page uses break-in or softness wording.
What this means
Soft out of the box and usable the first day. Made with softer leather that will not last as long as a stiff pro glove, which is fine for a growing player.
Tip: For most players under 12 this is the right answer.
Closing effortderivedEasyDerived: soft youth build in a small pattern.
What this means
How hard a young hand has to squeeze to close the glove on a ball. Easy means a soft build and a smaller pattern; hard means stiff leather or a big mitt.
Tip: If your player drops balls that hit the pocket, closing effort is usually the reason, not the hands.
