A split solid-web glove offered in 11.75 and 12 inch sizes with a professional Texas steerhide shell, sheepskin palm lining, cow leather finger lining, rolled steerhide welting and USA steerhide lacing, in right- and left-hand throw. The page calls it a small batch exclusive for a kid who plays year-round and says it needs 70 percent player break-in.
| Type | Youth fielder's glove |
|---|---|
| Size | 11.75 in, 12 inWhat this meansMeasured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's. |
