A four-finger youth teaching glove in sizes 10 to 11.5 inches with a Half Moon H-Web, offered in right- and left-hand throw in Camel/Red or Camel/Navy. Built with a tumbled steerhide shell, pigskin palm and finger lining, native steerhide welting and binding, acrylic fur wrist and pro-grade leather lace, with a pattern that puts the pinkie and ring finger together in the pinkie slot and extended hinges beside the pocket.

TypeYouth fielder's glove (4-finger)
Size10 in, 10.5 in, 11 in, 11.25 in, 11.5 in
What this means

Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently.

Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.

WebHalf Moon H-Web
What this means

An open web shaped like an H. Common on outfield and third-base gloves; sturdy and lets the player see through it on fly balls.

LeatherTumbled steerhide
What this means

Heavy, durable adult-cattle leather. Stiff at first, lasts for years. Most pro lines use it.

  • The extended hinges on each side of the pocket assist the player in closing the glove without pushing the palm forward.
  • It is upgraded on past models, now with All Leather Construction.
