Facts as the maker states them, read 24 Oct 2026

A 15-inch closed-back glove with a reinforced H web, built from 5.5 oz US steer hide leather with a deep pocket, shock pads sewn into the lining and sheepskin-lined finger stalls. Sold in black for right- or left-hand throw and listed for pitcher, first base and outfield.

Type	Fielder's glove
Size	15 in What this means Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.
Web	Re Inforced H Web What this means An open web shaped like an H. Common on outfield and third-base gloves; sturdy and lets the player see through it on fly balls.
Leather	5.5 oz. Steer hide leather What this means Heavy, durable adult-cattle leather. Stiff at first, lasts for years. Most pro lines use it.
Back	Closed
Hand	Right-hand throw or left-hand throw

The maker says	The deep pocket design allows for better control and less spin. The leather is pre-treated to reduce the break in time. Shock pads give better palm protection by covering a larger area of the hand. Sheep skin lined finger stalls are specially treated for a more comfortable feel.

LeatherstatedSteerhide
Break-instatedMediumStated: page says it breaks in quicker or easier, not that it is game-ready.
What this means
Needs a week or two of catch and shaping before it closes well.
Closing effortderivedMediumDerived from break-in class.
What this means
How hard a young hand has to squeeze to close the glove on a ball. Easy means a soft build and a smaller pattern; hard means stiff leather or a big mitt.
Tip: If your player drops balls that hit the pocket, closing effort is usually the reason, not the hands.
