Facts as the maker states them, read 20 Oct 2026

Player Preferred 12.5 in glove sold for infield and outfield use, offered in right- and left-hand throw, with a basket web, Velcro strap back, Pro Micro lining and a Zero Shock palm pad. The shell is full-grain oiled leather with all-leather laces; the page lists it for adult recreational players and says the series covers baseball, softball and recreational leagues.

Type	Infield/outfield glove
Size	12.5 in What this means Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.
Web	Basket What this means A closed, woven web that hides the ball. Pitchers use it; also common on youth gloves because it closes easily.

Stated comes off the maker's page; derived is worked out from what the maker states: its words, its leather, its numbers; graded is Patrick's call; unknown means the class is not known yet.

LeatherunknownNot known
Break-instatedGame-readyStated: page uses break-in or softness wording.
What this means
Soft out of the box and usable the first day. Made with softer leather that will not last as long as a stiff pro glove, which is fine for a growing player.
Tip: For most players under 12 this is the right answer.
Closing effortderivedMediumDerived from break-in class.
What this means
How hard a young hand has to squeeze to close the glove on a ball. Easy means a soft build and a smaller pattern; hard means stiff leather or a big mitt.
Tip: If your player drops balls that hit the pocket, closing effort is usually the reason, not the hands.
