Facts as the maker states them, read 20 Oct 2026

An 11.75 inch Heart of the Hide glove sold for infield and pitching, on the 200 pattern with a 2-Piece Solid web, a Hyper Shell and conventional back, offered in right and left hand throw in Black. It is built from top grade U.S. steerhide with pro grade leather laces, a deer-tanned cowhide palm lining, full-grain fingerback linings and a padded thumb sleeve, with a full custom option offered.

Type	Infield/pitcher's glove
Size	11.75 in What this means Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.

Patrick has not graded this line yet. A line not handled yet says Not yet graded, never a low grade.

Fit profile

Stated comes off the maker's page; derived is worked out from what the maker states: its words, its leather, its numbers; graded is Patrick's call; unknown means the class is not known yet.

LeatherstatedSteerhide
Break-inderivedGame-readyDerived from stated player break-in of 35%.
What this means
Soft out of the box and usable the first day. Made with softer leather that will not last as long as a stiff pro glove, which is fine for a growing player.
Tip: For most players under 12 this is the right answer.
Closing effortderivedMediumDerived from break-in class.
What this means
How hard a young hand has to squeeze to close the glove on a ball. Easy means a soft build and a smaller pattern; hard means stiff leather or a big mitt.
Tip: If your player drops balls that hit the pocket, closing effort is usually the reason, not the hands.
