Fielding glove made of pigskin leather under a PU shell, offered in a range of sizes for all positions. The page names an 11 inch size with an I-Web pocket that it recommends for infielders.
| Type | Utility fielding glove |
|---|---|
| Size | 11 inWhat this meansMeasured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's. |
| Web | I-Web (named for the 11 in size)What this meansAn open web shaped like an I. Light, quick to clear dirt, lets the ball out fast. The infielder's standard. |
