A 13-inch outfield glove with a Net-T web and flex-closed back, made of pre-treated 5.5 oz US steer hide with sheepskin lined finger stalls and shock pads sewn into the lining. Sold in black with white lace for right- or left-hand throw, listed for baseball outfield and any softball position.

Type	Outfield glove
Size	13 in What this means Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.

LeatherstatedSteerhide
Break-instatedMediumStated: page says it breaks in quicker or easier, not that it is game-ready.
What this means
Needs a week or two of catch and shaping before it closes well.
Closing effortderivedMediumDerived from break-in class.
What this means
How hard a young hand has to squeeze to close the glove on a ball. Easy means a soft build and a smaller pattern; hard means stiff leather or a big mitt.
Tip: If your player drops balls that hit the pocket, closing effort is usually the reason, not the hands.
