Type	Outfield glove
Size	12.5 in What this means Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.
Web	H-Web What this means An open web shaped like an H. Common on outfield and third-base gloves; sturdy and lets the player see through it on fly balls.
Leather	5.5 oz. premium steer hide leather What this means Heavy, durable adult-cattle leather. Stiff at first, lasts for years. Most pro lines use it.
Hand	Right-hand throw or left-hand throw

The maker says	The glove is carefully designed to meet all the needs of a serious player and high quality leather ensures the glove lasts. Lacing 100 tensile strength lacing through the fingers is unique to its glove lines. Its finger stays are thicker than competitors', so the glove retains its shape long after most. Pre-treated leather makes the glove easier to break in. The shock pads reduce sting and prevent hand injuries.

LeatherstatedSteerhide
Break-instatedMediumStated: page says it breaks in quicker or easier, not that it is game-ready.
What this means
Needs a week or two of catch and shaping before it closes well.
Closing effortderivedMediumDerived from break-in class.
What this means
How hard a young hand has to squeeze to close the glove on a ball. Easy means a soft build and a smaller pattern; hard means stiff leather or a big mitt.
Tip: If your player drops balls that hit the pocket, closing effort is usually the reason, not the hands.
