Facts as the maker states them, read 24 Oct 2026

A 12.75 inch open-back glove for right-handed throwers with a premium USA steerhide shell, steerhide palm lining, soft cowhide finger lining, acrylic fur wrist lining, full grain steerhide binding and welting, and pro-grade USA steerhide lace. The page says it is not a youth glove and is recommended for teens and 'tweens.

Type	Fielder's glove
Size	12.75 in What this means Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.
Web	Standard I Web What this means An open web shaped like an I. Light, quick to clear dirt, lets the ball out fast. The infielder's standard.
Leather	Premium USA Steerhide What this means Heavy, durable adult-cattle leather. Stiff at first, lasts for years. Most pro lines use it.
Back	Open
Hand	Right-hand throw
Ages	NOT A YOUTH GLOVE! RECOMMENDED FOR TEENS AND 'TWEENS

Fit profile

Stated comes off the maker's page; derived is worked out from what the maker states: its words, its leather, its numbers; graded is Patrick's call; unknown means the class is not known yet.

LeatherstatedSteerhide
Break-inderivedStiffDerived from leather type (steerhide / pro-grade wording).
What this means
Pro-grade leather such as Japanese kip or steerhide. Can take weeks to months to break in and a young player may not be able to close it at all at first. Lasts for years once broken in.
Tip: Do not buy a stiff pro glove for a player under 12 unless you are ready to break it in for them.
Closing effortderivedHardDerived: stiff build in a mitt or large pattern.
What this means
How hard a young hand has to squeeze to close the glove on a ball. Easy means a soft build and a smaller pattern; hard means stiff leather or a big mitt.
Tip: If your player drops balls that hit the pocket, closing effort is usually the reason, not the hands.
