Facts as the maker states them, read 24 Oct 2026

A 12-inch open-back infield glove with a double bar web, handcrafted from 5.5 oz premium kip leather with a double reinforced mesh back, rolled leather welting, sheepskin finger stall lining and a Pro Guard palm pad. Sold in black with black mesh for right- or left-hand throw.

Type	Infield glove
Size	12 in What this means Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.

The maker says	The Kip leather combined with mesh back allows for a much shorter break in time. The sheep skin finger stall lining makes this one of the most comfortable gloves on the market. The Pro Guard palm pad eliminates discomfort. These are the same gloves that the Pro's use.

LeatherstatedKip
Break-instatedMediumStated: page says it breaks in quicker or easier, not that it is game-ready.
What this means
Needs a week or two of catch and shaping before it closes well.
Closing effortderivedMediumDerived from break-in class.
What this means
How hard a young hand has to squeeze to close the glove on a ball. Easy means a soft build and a smaller pattern; hard means stiff leather or a big mitt.
Tip: If your player drops balls that hit the pocket, closing effort is usually the reason, not the hands.
