Facts as the maker states them, read 24 Oct 2026

A 13-inch first base mitt in black/white with pre-treated leather, sheepskin finger linings, a solid palm pad and stays in the thumb and pinkie. Sold for right- or left-hand throw as a limited addition to the line.

Type	First base mitt
Size	13 in What this means Measured from the heel to the top of the index finger. Infielders use smaller gloves (10.25 to 11.75 in) for quick transfers; outfielders larger (12 to 12.75 in); first base and catcher's mitts are measured differently. Tip: Bigger is not better for a young infielder. A glove they can close beats a glove that looks like a pro's.
Hand	Right-hand throw or left-hand throw
Also on the page	Sheepskin finger linings solid palm pad leather pre-treated for quicker break in time sturdy stays in fingers in the thumb and pinkie thumb and pinky loops
Maker SKU	JBV04
The maker says	Sheepskin finger linings are found on the top of the line gloves. The solid palm pad gives beefed up protection where you need it most. The leather is pre-treated to allow for quicker break in time. Sturdy stays in the thumb and pinkie reinforce the rigidity of the glove. The glove is one of the lightest on the market today.

Fit profile

Stated comes off the maker's page; derived is worked out from what the maker states: its words, its leather, its numbers; graded is Patrick's call; unknown means the class is not known yet.

LeatherunknownNot known
Break-instatedMediumStated: page says it breaks in quicker or easier, not that it is game-ready.
What this means
Needs a week or two of catch and shaping before it closes well.
Closing effortderivedMediumDerived from break-in class.
What this means
How hard a young hand has to squeeze to close the glove on a ball. Easy means a soft build and a smaller pattern; hard means stiff leather or a big mitt.
Tip: If your player drops balls that hit the pocket, closing effort is usually the reason, not the hands.
