The Pro Model TB43 Semi Custom is listed with a medium handle, a large barrel, a traditional knob with a slight taper, and a slightly end-loaded feel. The page describes it as a version of the 243 model and links to a fully custom version.
| Model code | TB43 |
|---|---|
| Barrel | largeWhat this meansA big barrel (about 2.56 in and up) gives the most hitting surface. Its size does not decide the balance: some big-barrel bats are balanced. |
| Handle | MediumWhat this meansAbout 0.93 to 0.96 in. The usual choice: enough whip, enough strength. Tip: Most players never need to think about this one. |
| Knob | TaperedWhat this meansA cone-shaped transition from handle to knob, somewhere between standard and flared. |
| Balance | Slight end load |
| Ink dot | YesWhat this meansAn ink dot on the handle shows the maker tested the grain slope. It is required for maple and birch bats used in pro ball and is a good sign of wood selection on any bat. |
| Compared on the page | Pro model TB43 is our version of the popular 243 model; Similar to a 243 cut, it is the perfect combination of large barrel size, balance of weight and wood density |
