Facts as the maker states them, read 21 Oct 2026
The Z9 Professional Edge JB9 is a maple wood bat in SSK's Pro line, offered in 31 to 34 inch lengths including half-inch sizes. The page lists the feel as end-loaded and states the maple is North American wood from Pennsylvania.
| Balance | End loadedWhat this meansExtra weight toward the end of the barrel, so the bat swings heavier than its number. For some players it gives a better feel for where the barrel is; whether it suits yours depends on how consistently they deliver the barrel. End load is not barrel size: some skinny-barrel bats are end-loaded. Tip: An end-loaded bat that feels heavy is the most common sizing mistake we see. |
