The Custom Cut PS23T is described as the Teen version of the Pro Model PSFT23, with a long barrel, a slightly flared handle, a .91 inch handle and a 2.33 inch barrel. The page says it is built for players aged 10-15 with lighter swing weights and offers a balanced feel.
| Model code | PS23T |
|---|---|
| Barrel | long barrel; 2.33” barrelWhat this meansA thinner barrel (under about 2.45 in on a wood bat), with less wood to hit with. Its size does not decide the balance: some skinny-barrel bats are end-loaded. |
| Handle | slightly flared handle; .91” handle |
| Balance | BalancedWhat this meansWeight is spread evenly, so the bat feels lighter than its number. A player who uses the knob or handle to deliver the barrel often needs the weight balanced or down toward the hands. Balance is not barrel size: some big-barrel bats are balanced. Tip: Which one is right depends on your player and how consistently they deliver the barrel. |
| Compared on the page | The PS23T is based of off our Pro Model PSFT23 - the Tatis Cut.; It has a slightly longer barrel than the 17T in comparison, but still offers a balanced feel. |
| Lead time | Standard, Rush and ULTRA Rush production options; 'Bat gets shipped estimate'; no day counts on page |
