The 023 Pro Model is offered in sizes 31, 32, 32.5, 33, 33.5 and 34 inches, in a gray stain handle or black handle, both with black barrels. The page describes a thinner handle and a tapered knob, and says the 023 keeps most of the 271's qualities with a slightly longer sweet spot.
| Model code | 023 |
|---|---|
| Handle | thinner handleWhat this meansA handle under about 0.93 in. It whips through the zone and feels fast, but it stings more on mis-hits and, in wood, breaks more easily. Common on pro models. Tip: Thin handles and young hands do not mix well in cold weather; expect sting. |
| Knob | TaperedWhat this meansA cone-shaped transition from handle to knob, somewhere between standard and flared. |
| Lengths | 31, 32, 32.5, 33, 33.5, 34 in |
| Compared on the page | The 023 maintains most of the great qualities of the 271 while introducing a slightly longer sweet spot. |
| Finishes | Gray Stain Handle/Black Barrel; Black Handle/Black Barrel |
