Facts as the maker states them, read 13 Oct 2026

The PA416 Antler Series is a Custom Made bat with Standard handle thickness, Medium barrel taper, Medium barrel size and a Balanced feel. The page offers a Traditional knob or a ProXR XRE2-M knob for an extra $30, with four handle/barrel color options.

Model codePA416
BarrelBarrel Taper: Medium; Barrel Size: Medium
What this means

The middle of the range (about 2.45 to 2.55 in). Most pro turn models live here.

Tip: A safe default when you are not sure.

HandleHandle Thickness: Standard
What this means

A handle near 1 in or more. It feels closer to a metal bat, takes sting out of mis-hits, and in wood it lasts longer. Makers recommend it for players moving from metal to wood.

Tip: If your player is switching from metal to wood, start here.

KnobOther
BalanceBalanced
What this means

Weight is spread evenly, so the bat feels lighter than its number. A player who uses the knob or handle to deliver the barrel often needs the weight balanced or down toward the hands. Balance is not barrel size: some big-barrel bats are balanced.

Tip: Which one is right depends on your player and how consistently they deliver the barrel.

FinishesHandle/Barrel color: Lt. Walnut/Orange; Natural/Flamed; Black/Black; Steel/Steel
Custom optionsKnob: Traditional; ProXR XRE2-M (+$30). Expedite: Standard; Rush.
Lead timeEstimated 2-3 Week Turnaround (spec line); 'LEAD TIME ON ALL BAT ORDERS IS APPROXIMATELY 3 WEEKS.'; expedited orders ship in 7-10 business days.

The maker says
  • The bat delivers a premium feel on the PA416 profile.
  • The ProXR-XRE2-M knob is patented.
  • The bat was designed for Pete Alonso.
