Facts as the maker states them, read 13 Oct 2026
The Fungo-JG18 is a fungo bat listed as custom made, with a traditional knob and small handle thickness per the spec lines. The page describes it as having a longer barrel than the maker's standard fungo model.
| Model code | JG18 |
|---|---|
| Barrel | a longer barrelWhat this meansA thinner barrel (under about 2.45 in on a wood bat), with less wood to hit with. Its size does not decide the balance: some skinny-barrel bats are end-loaded. |
| Handle | Handle Thickness: SmallWhat this meansA handle under about 0.93 in. It whips through the zone and feels fast, but it stings more on mis-hits and, in wood, breaks more easily. Common on pro models. Tip: Thin handles and young hands do not mix well in cold weather; expect sting. |
| Knob | StandardWhat this meansA traditional round knob. The simplest feel and what most beginners should start with. |
| Lead time | Estimated 2–3 Week Turnaround; approximately 3 weeks on all bat orders |
