The Fungo-Flared knob is a fungo bat with a flared knob, a standard handle thickness and a natural finish. The page lists it as custom made with an estimated 2 to 3 week turnaround.
| Handle | Handle Thickness: StandardWhat this meansA handle near 1 in or more. It feels closer to a metal bat, takes sting out of mis-hits, and in wood it lasts longer. Makers recommend it for players moving from metal to wood. Tip: If your player is switching from metal to wood, start here. |
|---|---|
| Knob | FlaredWhat this meansThe handle widens into the knob like the bell of a trumpet. Players who choke up or want leverage like it; it also keeps the bottom hand from sliding off. Popular from high school up. |
| Finishes | Natural finish |
| Custom options | Expedite: Standard or Rush (+$30). Description says fungos can be customized with colors and engraving; no color or engraving selector on page. |
