The Juiced Private Stock BM318 is a birch bat offered in 32, 33 and 34 inch lengths. The page describes a big barrel, a medium handle, a traditional knob, and a bat that is unusually well-balanced for its size.
| Model code | BM318 |
|---|---|
| Wood | BirchWhat this meansSofter than maple and more forgiving of mis-hits; hardens with use. A good choice for a first wood bat and for younger players. |
| Barrel | big barrelWhat this meansA big barrel (about 2.56 in and up) gives the most hitting surface. Its size does not decide the balance: some big-barrel bats are balanced. |
| Handle | medium handleWhat this meansAbout 0.93 to 0.96 in. The usual choice: enough whip, enough strength. Tip: Most players never need to think about this one. |
| Knob | StandardWhat this meansA traditional round knob. The simplest feel and what most beginners should start with. |
| Balance | BalancedWhat this meansWeight is spread evenly, so the bat feels lighter than its number. A player who uses the knob or handle to deliver the barrel often needs the weight balanced or down toward the hands. Balance is not barrel size: some big-barrel bats are balanced. Tip: Which one is right depends on your player and how consistently they deliver the barrel. |
